Information you send us

When you use the contact form, the records request form, or the certificate upload form, we collect only the information you type in and any file you attach. That information is stored securely and emailed to court staff so they can respond. It is used to answer your question or process your request, and for no other purpose. It is not sold, rented, or shared with advertisers.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or third-party tracking. No cookie consent banner is required because no cookies are set for tracking or marketing purposes.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which may include your internet address, browser type, and the pages you requested. These logs are used only to keep the site running and secure.

We also keep a simple, anonymous count of how the site is used: the page or document opened, the date and time, the general type of device, and the website that referred you. Your internet address is never stored, and the code used to group visits within a single day is scrambled and replaced daily, so it cannot identify you or follow you over time. These counts are summarized for court staff and are never sold or shared.

Court records are public

Information filed in a court case is a court record and is generally open to the public under Nevada law and the Nevada Supreme Court rules, except where a record is sealed or confidential by law. Do not send confidential information, evidence, or documents intended for filing through this website. Nothing sent through a web form is filed in a case.

Email from the court

The court sends email only in response to what you submit or about your case. This website does not run marketing email lists and does not add you to any mailing list.

Outside websites

Links to online payments, case lookup, e-filing, the service line, and county pages take you to sites run by other agencies or vendors. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and this policy does not cover them.
